MAINTENANCE

CAUTION:

Before doing any work on the Power Cut turn off the engine,

remove the cutting disc, pull the plug cap off the spark plug

and wear protective gloves!

CAUTION:

Start the Power Cut only after complete assembly and

inspection.

SERVICE

IMPORTANT:

Because many of the parts and assemblies not mentioned

in this Instruction Manual are vital to the safety of the

unit, and because all parts are subject to a certain amount

of wear and tear, it is important for your own safety that

you have the unit checked and maintained regularly by a

MAKITA service center.

IMPORTANT:

If the cutting wheel breaks during cutting, the

Power Cut must be repaired by a MAKITA service

centre before being used again!

Changing the V-belt

Loosen nuts (3).

NOTE:

Loosen the tightening screw (1) (counter-clockwise) until the

end of the screw (2) is visible in the gap.

Unscrew the nuts (3) and remove the cover (4).

Remove the screws (5) and (7) and remove the side piece

Screw (5) is longer than screws (7). Make sure

to put them back in the right places during reas-

sembly!

Unscrew the screws (8) and remove the crankcase housing

cover (9).

Remove the old belt (10) or belt pieces.

Clean out the inside of the drive arm with a brush.

Put in a new V-belt.

NOTE:

Reassemble the crankcase housing cover (9), side piece (6)

and cover (4) in the reverse order.

To tighten the V-belt see ”Tightening the V-belt / Checking

V-belt tension”.

PAŽNJA: Kod bilo kakvog posla oko Power Cut-a, isključite

motor, izvadite disk, izvadite poklopac za svećicu i nosite

zaštitne rukavice!

PAŽNJA: Startujte Power Cut tek kada bude kompletno

sklopljen i proveren.

VAŽNO: S obzirom da su mnogi delovi i sklopovi, koji nisu

opisani u ovom uputstvu, važni za bezbednost uređaja i svi

delovi su podložni na habanje i trošenje, za vašu bezbednost

je važno redovno da kontrolišete uređaj u MAKITIN servis.

VAŽNO:

Ako se disk slomi za vreme rada, pre nego što se

ponovo upotrebi Power Cut mora da se popravi u

MAKITINOM servisu!

Izmena klinastog kajša

Odvrnite navrtke (3). (6).

Odvrnite vijak (1), dok kraj vijka (2) ne bude vidljiv kroz procep.

Odvrnite navrtku (3) i izvadite poklopac (4).

Otstranite vijke (5) i (7) i otstranite bočni deo

ZABELEŠKA:

Vijak (5) je duži od vijka (7). Vodite računa kada

montirate da ih vratite na svoje mesto

Odvrnite vijak (8) i otstranite poklopac kućišta krivaje (9).

Otstranite stari kajš (10). Sa četkom očistite unutrašnjost kućišta.

Postavite novi kajš.

ZABELEŠKA:

Montirajte poklopac kućišta krivaje (9), bočni deo (6) i poklopac

(4), po obratnom redosledu. Za zatezanje kajša vidite „Zatezanje

klinastog kajša/ Provera zategnutosti kajša”.
